The 70th

Please join a
group of Trailblazers, family, and friends for a tour to the 70th battlefields
and the Normandy landing beaches and military sites. Land price includes 17
hotel nights (including all breakfasts and most dinners), and many museum
admissions. Our first night is in Frankfurt, Germany where you meet the tour
director, historians, and tour participants. Niederbronn-les-Bainsis our first
base to visit the small towns where the 70th entered combat in January 1945,
such as Phillipsbourg, Wingen-Sur-Moder, Baerenthal, Lichtenberg, and Rothbach. Our
next destination is Forbach where our hotel is at the base of the Castle which
was the scene of such fierce fighting in March, 1945. After a stop in Reims to
see the Surrender Room, we continue on to Paris. Our final destination is
Normandy. Our hotel in Bayeux is the base for visiting the Omaha and Utah
Beaches, the American cemetery at Colleville Sur Mer, Pointe Du Hoc,
Arromanches, the German battery at Longue sur Mer, Sainte Mere Eglise, and
where it all started, Pegasus Bridge. Our final night in Normandy is at Mont
Saint Michel. From there the group returns to Paris for flights home from
Charles DeGaulle Airport.
