Bio
I returned to the states from Europe in May 1946 and resumed college undergraduate
work. Graduated from the U of Denver in1949 and was commissioned 2d Lt of Infantry in the
Regular Army (ROTC). Graduated from the Infatry Officers Advanced Course at Ft. Benning,
GA in 1956, the Command and General Staff Course at Ft. leavenworth, KS in 1962 and the
Army War College at Carlisle barracks, PA in 1973. Received an MS in Public Adminstrtion
from U of Southern Illinois in 1975. Retired from the Army in 1976 as a Colonel with 30
years service and worked as a consultant to the Office of the Secretary of Defense at the
Pentagon until final retirement in 1988. Overseas Army assignments included another tour
in Germany, and tours in Korea, Panama and Vietnam. My wife, Beverly, and I live in
Virginia Beach, VA. We have three children, a girl and two boys and six grandchildren,
four girls and two boys. Enjoying the world of high tech.
