Bio

Leaving the 70th Inf. Div. Aug.16,45 at Hadamar,Gr.I was transfered to the 3rd Div 15th Regt. at Marburg in the Army of Occupation. After 3 moves within the Regt., I left for Cp. Atteberry, In. and Disc June 22, 1946. That fall I begin college on the GI bill; graduating with BS in '50. Begin working for the next 40 years with several different companies; Sperry-Rand,Union Carbide,Brown Engr.,Hercules Inc. In 1955 Mildred and I were married followed with three wonderful children: Carla Med.Dir.Griffin,Ga; Renee Teacher and wife ofcareer Marine Off.w/two grandchidren; Brett Atlanta Consul.w/Joshua nee Apr.4,01.Since June '89 I have been in retirement;serving on a couple local Bds, and playing golf not the game one sees on TV.
