History
Entered the service at Ft Thomas, KY March 1944.
After returning from overseas served briefly with the 4th Division at Camp
Butner NC and the Infantry Ground School at Ft Benning GA.
Discharged at Camp Atterbury IN May 1946. Worked as a U S Postal Service
Railway Mail Clerk on the Cincinnati to Detroit run and later as a U S P S Mail
Processing equipment mechanic in the Cincinnati, OH
Post Office. Married to my wife Gladys for 45 years and had one son and one
daughter. Have two grandsons and two granddaughters. and five great grandsons. I
have lived in the same house in the small community of Mt Carmel, OH for 54
years.
