Report
This
morning report is dated 13 March, 1945. The reports usually detailed
company strength, any reductions in rank, promotions, transfers and
casualties. This particular report details a change in MOS (Military
Occupation Specialty) for the soldiers listed. The numbers are
description of the primary job of the soldier. Explanations of the

Automotive Mechanic (2nd Echelon)
Inspects and performs first and second echelon organizational
maintenance service and repairs on gasoline powered vehicles,
including motorcycles. |

Carpenter, Heavy Construction: Builds
and repairs wooden structures made from heavy timbers and
planking. |

Carpenter, General: Performs a variety
of carpenter tasks in connection with the construction and
repair of buildings, drainage systems, waterworks, airports,
motion picture sets and related structures. |

Clerk, General: Performs a variety of
clerical tasks in connection with the operation of a military
unit. |

Postal Clerk: Performs various postal
duties in a miltary post office. |
