1030   41   Msg from Redwood - Rd blocks that were erected by Foster are being removed. Fox to take one from Blue Bn, erect a rd block on road NW on Zinswiller (88.5-36.2) Rept to Redwood thru Herren what we are using there. (AT guns, bazooka, rifleman, etc.) Phoned Blu via Cn Co See No. 43
    42 1130 CO and S-3 going to 276th CP. Sit tight as to closing of CP Phoned from Herren S-1
1135   43   CO 3d Bn called - In compliance with msg rec'd 1045 via Cn Co rept to Corps thru Herren. Strength road block (88.5-36.2) now is one rifle squad with 2 AT grenade launchers and one bazooka. Will reinforce this position. Today to strength of 1 rifle plat supports by one wpns plat and 2 57mm AT squads. Will rpet when reinforced to above strength. At least 2 road blocks will be prepared and defended.

1405   54 1251 Msg from CO 3d Bn - Request ki trk and food containers revert to Regtl control 5 hrs after release to Bn 4 hrs is adequate. Request ki trks proceed forward of tele ASF pt to vicinity Bn CP consistant with safety in order to minimize time Co trks won carrier are detached from units for delivery of rations to positions. Request two men accompany each Co ration and water. S-4 approved

    3 1320 2 EM from Co F reptd CP. Were in accident in which peep was damaged Peep later stolen. S-1 departed with 2 EM to try to recover peep and get men their unit. 20569518 peep No. Pete Hanis Co F, Mourphy Co F, Phismeti Co F. Believed peep picked up by Wrecker - identity unknown
    4   Mass in church down street at 0900 Sun 7 Jan 45. Confession before mass. Protestant services 1430 Minchhoffen  
    5 1415 S-1 returned to CP  
    6 1455 Now have phone contact with 3d Bn  
    7 1525 Protestant services 0900, church across street.  
    8 1535 IPW officer arrived at CP asking for S-1. IPW officer left CP  
    9 1545 Div Surg at CP wanted to know where medics would be located. Sgt Reedy showed location
    10 1546 IPW off returned to CP  
1805   11   Wyoming operator has contact with Wyandot, Blue Able, Wyoming AT, No line to rear bd. No line (temporarily with Wyoming Blue.  
  2000 12   To S-4 from EX O one 2 1/2 ton trk and trailer with Lt Bottorff SSO on it will rept to Major Blythe Div Rear eschelon at Wassalone at 0700, 7 Jan 45 to go as directed to pick up PX rations, the trip will probably require 18 hrs.  
  2000 13   To S-4 from Ex O - Major Cantrell will rept to Div Hq at 1000, 7 Jan for a general conference with the Asst Corps G-4, Capt Ferguson
