1. ENEMY:

a. Units in contact: No change.
b. Enemy reserves that can affect our situation. No change.
c. No activity in rear area.
d. Enemy strength and probable knowledge of situation: Enemy activity to the front of our sector indicates an undetermined amount of armor, artillery and infantry troops. Morale is probably high. Knowledge of our situation should be lacking in detail as to unit designation, strength and reserves.
e. Conclusions:

(1) Enemy is capable of infiltrating strong combat patrols into our rear areas to harass or destroy separated units or CP's.

(2) Enemy is capable of a limited objective attack.

(3) Enemy is capable of defending strongly in prepared positions North of lines now held.

Capabilities No. 1 and No. 2 will in all likelyhood be used and can be used at night. It is reported by Liason Officer from Pagen that the 12th SS opposing them will attempt to secure Wimmenau tonite. The use of these capabilities would have very little, if any, effect on our mission at present.
